Need help with your social media efforts, content marketing, or managing a successful website? Ever wonder how the pros do it and make it look so easy? I’ll let you in on a little secret: they work smarter, not harder! It’s time to spill the beans, so, below, are some of the top tools in the industry used by professionals to hack online marketing.
1. Grammarly: Perhaps you don’t have the time or expertise to edit all of your emails, website copy, or documents. No problem. Grammarly automatically scans your text and shows you all the problems along with helpful suggestions. The plugin works for Microsoft Word and as a browser extension.
2. SproutSocial: When it comes to social media, many professionals start with one website – SproutSocial. Within this hub, you can aggregate useful content feeds for content and sharing ideas, you can schedule social media posts across multiple platforms, you can find the best times to post, and you can even respond to all engagement and messages from one, convenient hub.
3. Canva: Need help creating quote graphics, compiling stunning visual content, or resizing graphics for specific social media platforms? Check out Canva for free. You can upload your own images, or you can buy stunning graphics from them for just a dollar a piece.
4. Heat Maps by SumoMe: Have you ever wanted to know a bit more about what your website viewers do on your site? It pays to better understand how users behave and what they click on when they land on your website. SumoMe offers heat maps to visualize just that!
5. CoSchedule Headline Analyzer: This one is pretty cool. Next time you write a blog post, instead of just selecting a title you happen to like, select one scientifically by letting CoSchedule analyze your title! It gives you a ranking, helpful tips, and a prediction of how well it will perform. Don’t just write titles – write titles that get clicked on!
6. Fiverr: When it comes to simple social media banners, ebook covers, video narrations, web page design – you name it – there are a ton of contractors offering basic gigs starting at just five bucks! There is also a review platform, so you can select those contractors with the highest quality and customer satisfaction.
7. PixaBay: Catchy, quality graphics are hard to find if you’re on a budget. Fortunately, there are a few sites out there that offer stock photography and marketing graphics for free! Among these, one of my favorites is PixaBay. They give you hi-res images that you can download for free, or you can see some of the best images available on Shutterstock alongside them in case you want to buy one of those instead.
